Painswick to King's Stanley via Edge Common, Haresfield Beacon, and Standish Woods.
The stage drops from Painswick to Wash Brook and climbs again onto Edge Common for broad backward views. After Haresfield Beacon, the path descends through Standish Woods and into the Stroud valleys. Near the Stroudwater Navigation, walkers can choose the canal/Selsley Common variant or continue via King's Stanley.
