Occasional updates from the Cotswold Way - trail life, people, and places along the route.
We share stories about the Cotswold Way: the landscapes between Chipping Campden and Bath, the villages that welcome walkers, and the quiet stretches of escarpment where the views open west towards the Severn.
You will hear from volunteers who keep paths clear and waymarks reliable, and from hikers who send in notes from their own journeys - first long-distance walks, return trips with friends, or slow days spent lingering in pubs and churchyards. We also pass on practical trail news when it helps people plan: seasonal access notes, events near the route, and small reminders that make a stage easier. See News for recent updates, or browse Community pages for passports, certificates, and volunteer-led walks.
The newsletter is irregular on purpose. We write when there is something worth reading, not to fill a calendar. Expect a mix of people and place: wardens and local businesses, wildlife and weather, overnight stops that worked well, and the odd reflection on why this National Trail stays with you after the boots come off.
Leave your email below if you would like those updates. We will use it only for this newsletter, and you can stop receiving it whenever you prefer.
