Camping

Designated sites and simple pitches where the route passes through farm and hill country.

Camping

Camping can keep costs down and put you close to the trail, but facilities vary from full touring parks to smaller farm or backpacker-friendly pitches. Always check opening seasons, whether advance booking is required, and what is included (showers, electric hook-up, waste disposal) before you set your stage plan.

Wild camping is not generally permitted without the landowner's permission. Please use official campsites or other lawful accommodation, follow any site rules and countryside access guidance, and leave no trace when you move on.
