Came over from Bavaria on my own. Way easier than the Alps but still proper walking. Got soaked near Dursley after the rain and the mud was ridiculous - then Dyrham woods totally made up for it, bluebells everywhere and that little message box people write in. Stamped my passport whenever I found a place open. Acorn waymarks + offline map and I was fine. Pack layers for May!! mornings freezing, afternoons baking on the escarpment. Already miss it a bit tbh.
