Significant plans were made for the 50th anniversary of the Cotswold Way (1970-2020), including public celebratory walks. The issue also introduces the feasibility of renaming the AONBs to "National Landscapes," a change intended to provide more resources for maintaining paths like the Cotswold Way. A featured walk in the southern section explores the valleys and wildflower meadows of Southstoke near Bath.
