The "Save our Magnificent Meadows" project highlights the vanishing wildflower grasslands that are a hallmark of the Cotswold scarp. Hikers are encouraged to participate in botanical surveys and walks to identify rare species like the Pasqueflower, which thrives on the limestone soil encountered along the trail. This issue also identifies top viewpoints throughout the AONB that are accessible from the main trail route.
