Final stage into Bath via Lower Hamswell, Lansdown, racecourse, Weston, and the Abbey.
The last leg drops from Cold Ashton to Lower Hamswell, then climbs to Lansdown's Civil War battlefield area and passes the David Michael Mores sculpture circle near Lansdown Golf Club. The trail runs across the high plateau by Little Down and Bath Racecourse, reveals first views of Bath at Prospect Stile, then becomes progressively urban through Weston and city parks to the finish marker at Bath Abbey.
